Welcome! Many of you have shared wonderful tips and "ways to use" the tools in the Defining American series. Please review these to maximize your effectiveness. Best steps in using this series:
1. Preview the DVD. Remember these videos are not offered as unpreviewed substitute teachers for the subjects, but rather as teacher aids. Each of these tapes are "interactive" by design. They are standalone class enhancement programs covering different material, but they share exactly the same series introduction and program notes (DVD menu options).
2. Review the CD-ROM support/handout materials. Often we included materials not used in our presentation but related to it for quick reference.
3. Review the information links that follow below.
4. Go for it.
